BurnSprint is local-first. Your health and food history are not an advertising profile.
Data on your device
Your goal, energy ledger, weight entries, fasting settings, language, and saved meal photos are stored locally in the BurnSprint App Group. BurnSprint does not require an account. You can export the ledger as CSV and delete local data in Settings.
Apple Health
With your permission, BurnSprint reads body mass, resting energy, and active energy from HealthKit. It does not write to HealthKit. HealthKit data is used only to calculate and display your progress, is not sent to the ad service, and is never used for advertising.
AI meal drafts
Only after you enable the consent switch, BurnSprint sends a reduced copy of the selected meal photo (maximum 1,000 px), language, anonymous installation ID, request ID, image hash, and subscription proof to the isolated BurnSprint service. The image is processed to create a calorie and macro draft and is not written to server storage. The service stores anonymous quota, request, hash, timing, and draft-result records for limits, retries, abuse prevention, and support. AI processing may use Anthropic Claude. Nothing enters your ledger until you confirm it.
Subscriptions
Apple processes purchases and payment details. BurnSprint uses StoreKit transaction status to unlock Plus. During an AI request, the server verifies the signed entitlement but does not store the signed transaction or payment details.
Contextual sponsor messages
Free accounts may see a clearly labeled sponsor screen after completed actions. Selection is contextual, not based on HealthKit, weight, food, or fasting data. BurnSprint may record an anonymous installation ID, sponsor ID, impression, click or report, placement, and timestamp. We do not use third-party tracking SDKs or track you across apps and websites.
Sharing and security
Data is shared only with infrastructure and AI processors needed to provide a feature you requested, or when required by law. We do not sell personal data. Transport uses HTTPS. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Choices and contact
You can deny Health access, use manual entries, skip AI photos, export your data, or delete local data. For questions or deletion of anonymous server records, contact support and include the BurnSprint installation identifier if available. This service is intended for adults.
